Asset & Entity Intelligence — understand what is behind the entity.
A single entity on a signature page is rarely the whole picture. Behind it can sit a holding structure, a chain of nominees, a related party three jurisdictions away, or a recorded asset nobody mentioned. SIRI's Asset & Entity Intelligence practice maps corporate networks, traces beneficial ownership, and researches recorded assets through public records and lawfully available sources — building the structural picture that a diligence decision, a fraud investigation, or a litigation strategy is built on top of.
A distinct analytical discipline
Entity structure and asset tracing are their own discipline — one that feeds into diligence, fraud work, and litigation, rather than replacing them.
Corporate-network mapping, ownership-layer tracing, and cross-border structure analysis require a different method than a standard background check or a single-entity fraud review: they start from the entity and work outward, one registered relationship at a time.
This practice sits deliberately alongside two related SIRI capabilities rather than inside them. Where Investigative Due Diligence assesses a counterparty as a whole — its history, its people, its reputational exposure — Asset & Entity Intelligence supplies the structural layer underneath that assessment: the ownership chain, the related-entity map, and the asset trail. Where Fraud & Financial Investigations reconstructs what happened in a specific matter, this practice provides the entity and asset picture an investigator builds that reconstruction against. The three connect; none substitutes for the others.
Our method works from registered fact outward: corporate registry filings, beneficial-ownership disclosures where they exist, court and regulatory records, and other lawfully available sources — corroborated across jurisdictions before a relationship is stated as established. SIRI Security has no government authority and no access to sealed corporate records, undisclosed banking information, or tax filings; where the public and licensed-commercial record is incomplete, the analysis says so rather than inferring a connection it cannot support.
The output is typically a structured entity-relationship map and written assessment — built to be handed directly to a due-diligence team, a fraud investigator, or litigation counsel (including SIRI Law LLP, where legal action follows) as a foundation for their own next step, not as a finished verdict on the entity itself.
What gets misunderstood about entity and asset intelligence
Four assumptions that distort what this discipline can and cannot show
The corporate-registry search bar makes this look simpler than the analysis actually is.
“This is the same as a background check”
A background check profiles a person or a single entity. This practice maps a network of related entities, ownership layers, and recorded assets across jurisdictions — a structural discipline, not an identity lookup.
“Ownership records are public and complete everywhere”
Beneficial-ownership disclosure regimes vary widely by jurisdiction, and many registries record only the immediate legal owner. Gaps in the public record are reported as gaps, not filled with assumption.
“A complex structure or a shell entity is proof of wrongdoing”
Multi-entity and cross-border structures are standard corporate practice for tax, liability, and operational reasons. The analysis flags what is unusual against the counterparty's stated business, not structure for its own sake.
“This will find the hidden assets”
The practice searches recorded, lawfully accessible sources — it assesses what the record shows and reports where it is silent. It cannot claim to surface assets that were never recorded or lawfully accessible in the first place.

Structural analysis, not a registry lookup
A single registry search vs. a generic corporate-lookup service vs. SIRI
The difference is corroboration across jurisdictions, network mapping, and connection to the matter the picture is built for.
| Approach | A single registry search | Generic corporate-lookup service | SIRI Asset & Entity Intelligence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Multi-jurisdiction ownership tracing | No | Limited, single-registry | Corroborated across available jurisdictions |
| Entity-relationship network mapping | No | Rarely | Core deliverable, visualised |
| Distinguishes recorded fact from gap in the record | N/A | Rarely stated | Explicit in every report |
| Built to feed a diligence, fraud, or litigation matter | No | No | Yes — by design, with SIRI Law LLP where needed |
| Confidence-rated assessment | No | No | Yes — every relationship and asset finding is rated |
Comparison reflects typical market positioning of a manual single-registry search and generic corporate-lookup tools versus SIRI Security's documented methodology; individual provider capabilities vary.
Methodological alignment
Frameworks & standards our methodology draws on
Our entity and asset research is grounded in corporate-registry and beneficial-ownership research practice, not proprietary access to restricted financial data.
Framework references reflect publicly available standards our methodology is aligned to; they are not a claim of certification, licensure, or law-enforcement authority. SIRI Security conducts all intelligence and investigative work through lawful, ethical means and does not misrepresent its personnel as government, law-enforcement, or intelligence-agency officials.
Why SIRI for entity and asset intelligence specifically
A structural discipline, staffed by the same team that acts on it
The value of an entity map is what happens after it is drawn — and that is where most standalone providers stop.
A dedicated structural discipline
Entity mapping and asset tracing get treated as their own analytical practice, not a paragraph inside a background-check template.
Built to connect, not to stand alone
Findings are structured to plug directly into an active Investigative Due Diligence report or a Fraud & Financial Investigations matter.
Legal follow-through, in-house
Where an entity or asset finding needs to become litigation support or an asset-recovery strategy, SIRI Law LLP is already part of the same ecosystem.
Honest about the record's limits
Every map states what is documented, what is inferred from pattern, and what the available registries simply do not disclose.

Asset & Entity Intelligence, answered directly
How is this different from Investigative Due Diligence?
Investigative Due Diligence assesses a counterparty as a whole — history, people, reputation, exposure. Asset & Entity Intelligence supplies one layer of that picture in depth: the ownership chain, the related-entity network, and recorded assets. It is often used as an input into a due-diligence report, not as a replacement for one.
How is this different from Fraud & Financial Investigations?
Fraud & Financial Investigations reconstructs what happened in a specific suspected-fraud matter. Asset & Entity Intelligence provides the structural and asset picture — the entities, ownership layers, and recorded holdings — that a fraud investigation is built against. The two are frequently engaged together.
Can SIRI access hidden bank accounts or undisclosed assets?
No. SIRI Security has no government authority and does not access sealed records, banking data, or tax filings without the client's proper legal authorisation and process. Findings are built from public registries, court and regulatory filings, and licensed commercial sources.
Does a complex or offshore structure mean something is wrong?
Not on its own. Layered and cross-border structures are common for legitimate tax, liability, and operational reasons. Our reports flag what is unusual relative to the entity's stated business rather than treating structure itself as a finding.
Can the entity map be used in litigation?
Where an engagement is scoped for evidentiary use, we apply documentation and sourcing practices intended to support that use, and SIRI Law LLP can advise on how findings translate into a legal filing or claim. Admissibility ultimately rests with the presiding jurisdiction and counsel's presentation.
How many jurisdictions can a single engagement cover?
It depends on where the entity's network actually extends — engagements have covered a single domestic entity and multi-jurisdiction structures across a dozen or more registries. Coverage and depth of available record are agreed and documented at scoping.
